|IDENTIFY REFERENCE POINTS|
1. Sella (S)—the center of the hypophyseal fossa (sella tursica)
2. Nasion (Na)—the junction of the nasal and frontal bones at the most posterior point on the curvature of the bridge of the nose
3. A-point (A)—an arbitrary measure point on the innermost curvature from the maxillary anterior nasal spine to the crest of the maxillary alveolar process. A-point is the most anterior point of the maxillary apical base.
4. B-point (B)— An arbitrary measure point on the anterior bony curvature of the mandible. B point is the innermost curvature from chin to alveolar junction
5. Pogonion (Pg)—the most anterior point on the contour of the chin
6. Gnathion (Gn)—the most outward and everted point on the profile curvature of the symphysis of the mandible, located midway between pogonion and menton.
7. Menton (Me)—the lowest point on the symphysis of the mandible
8. Anterior Nasal Spine (ANS)—the most anterior point on the maxilla at the nasal base
9. Posterior Nasal Spine (PNS)—the tip of the posterior nasal spine of the palatine bone, at the junction of the soft and hard palate
10. Basion (Ba)—the anterior margin of the foramen mangnum. The midpoint of the curvature between upper and lower surfaces of the basilar portion of the occipital bone
11. Palatal roof—the radiopaque bone of the maxilla forming the roof of the palatal vault
12. Orbitale (Or)—a point midway between the lowest point on the inferior margin of the two orbits
13. Gonion—a point midway between the points representing the middle of the curvature at the left and right angles of the mandible
14. Articulare (Ar)—a point midway between the two posterior borders of the left and right mandibular rami at the intersection with the basilar portion of the occipital bone
15. Porion (Po)—the midpoint of th upper contour of the external auditory canal (Anatomic Porion) or a point midway between the top of the image of the left and right ear-rods of the cephalostat (Machine Porion)
16. Pterygomaxillary Fissure (Ptm)—the point at the base of the fissure where the anterior and posterior wall meet
17. Key ridges—the posterior vertical portion and inferior curvature of the left and right zygomatic bones

1. Sella: Điểm trung tâm hố yên
2. Nasion (Na): điểm nối nối xương xương mũi và xương trán tại điểm sau nhất của đường cong sống mũi.
3. Điểm A (A)- một điểm hay thay đổi nằm trên điểm lõm nhất của đường cong gai mũi trước hàm trên đến mào xương ổ răng hàm trên. Điểm A là điểm trước nhất của lỗ chóp trên xương hàm trên.
4. Điểm B- một điểm hay thay đổi trên đường cong phía trước của xương hàm dưới. Điểm B nằm sâu nhất của đừng cong nối cằm đến xương ổ răng.
5. Pogonion (Pg)- điểm trước nhất của đường viền cằm
6. Gnathion (Gn)- điểm dưới nhất và trước nhất trên đường cong lồi cằm xương hàm dưới, nằm giữa Pogonion và Menton.
7. Menton (Me)- Điểm thấp nhất trên lồi cằm xương hàm dưới
8. Anterior Nasal Spine (ANS)- điểm trước nhất của nền mũi xuơng hàm trên
9. Posterior Nasal Spine (PNS)- đỉnh gai mũi sau của xương khẩu cái, tại điểm nối khẩu cái cứng và khẩu cái mềm.
10. Basion (Ba)- bờ trước của lỗ chẩm. Trung điểm đường cong giữa mặt trên và dưới của đáy xương chẩm.
11. Palatal roof- thấu quanh xương hàm trên tạo ở vòm khẩu cái
12. Orbitale (Or)- Điểm giữa hai điểm thấp nhất bờ dưới ổ mắt hai bên
13. Gonion- Trung điểm của hai điểm giữa đường cong góc hàm trái và phải.
14. Articulare (Ar)- Trung điểm giữa hai điểm bờ phía sau cành trên xương hàm dưới giao với bờ dưới xương chẩm.
15. Porion (Po)- Điểm giữa bờ trên ống tai ngoài (Porion giải phẫu) hoặc trung điểm của điểm phía trên ống tai trái và phải trong tư thế chuẩn (Machine Porion)
16. Pterygomaxillary Fissure (Ptm)- điểm thấp nhất của khe, nơi thành trước và thành sau giao nhau.
